Sorry I've taken a few days off but it was my birthday this last weekend. I slept in, watched movies caught up on things and ate good food. I also got great presents from friends and family. If you're asking yourself, I sure wish I could get DJ Funkalicious something...well I have the answer for you. I would love, love, love, love to get an Ipod. Assuming your in a giving mood, you simply have to click on the link below and complete one of the offers (I actually need 5 of you to do this). I ended up chosing the blockbuster online gig (basically Netflix). Pretty cool so far I must admit and I can cancel in a week. hehehe.

You too can get a free Ipod too. I swear it works. Just check out this Wired Magazine article. They give the full scoop on how it works and how you can get yours.
Anyway I know this is all a pipedream but a man can dream can't he. Hope you all had a wonderful T-Day (if you ended up celebrating it). More fun and funky music posts coming your way soon. Best, DJF
Here is wishing you all the best Thankgiving Day. I'd like to give thanks to a few things:

Here's another funky track off the "Natural Funky Vol. IV". You'll be hard pressed to find this album anywhere, but I can say many of the bands on this one kick down with the funky beats. This one by King Herbert & the Knights busts out of the gates like a racehorse at the track. Right away they get right into it. The driving monotonous pace is broken up at about 1:55mins into the song when the singing cuts out and the instruments take up the slack for the rest of the song. Love the boogaloo style guitar. Enjoy this Friday treat
